How we choose your coach
What we require before anyone coaches here
Accredited coaching qualification
Every coach holds a recognised cricket coaching accreditation appropriate to the age group they take.
Specialists, not generalists
Batting, bowling and fielding are coached by staff who specialise, so a young quick is not being corrected by somebody who last bowled at school.
Junior-safe workloads
Coaches follow age-appropriate bowling-workload guidance. Overbowling a growing fast bowler causes injuries that end careers before they start.
Assessment first
Your first session is an assessment, so a player joins the group that actually fits.
Performance tracking
What a season of coaching actually changed
Every player has a record: batting, bowling and fielding assessments each term, video from net sessions, and the coach's notes. Parents see the same record the coach does — progress is never a conversation about impressions.
Book a skills assessment
A 45-minute assessment places a player in the right batch and sets the first term's goals.
Programs at this academy
What each one covers, how it runs, and what you leave with.
